Job summary

Leddy Group is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead and support finance and accounting functions for our client in Newington, NH. This full-time, direct-hire role demands CPA, 4–6 years of experience in accounting, cost/inventory accounting, and strong Excel with Oracle EBS ERP skills.

You will prepare GAAP-based financial statements, strengthen internal controls, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with cross-functional teams. Salary ranges from $130k to $150k DOE, plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
• CPA required.
• 4-6 years practical experience in operating/product-driven company, public accounting company, or mix.
• Proficiency in cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial reporting, and audit preparation (public audits preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, and ERP systems (Oracle EBS strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and support financial activities
• Serve as subject matter expert of Federal Excise Taxes (FAET)
• Work closely with various internal teams, maintaining a high level of customer service and personal integrity
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as required
