The primary objective of the Assistant Controller – Foundations isto provide supervision of the day-to-day financial operations ofmultiple nonprofit foundations supported by Foundation Accountingwhile assisting each entity in carrying out their mission. Thisposition will be responsible for completing/overseeing preparationof internal and audited financial statements and other financialreports, monitoring and managing all aspects of the general ledgerto ensure accuracy as well as the completion of timelyreconciliations, reviewing or providing periodic, or as needed,analysis and variances, coordinating or assisting with the budgetprocess, managing general accounting, accounts payable, andfinancial analysis, ensuring Generally Accepted AccountingPrinciples are followed and researching accounting issues forcompliance, making decisions related to/assisting with thedevelopment of processes and procedures, assisting withcoordinating audits and serving as a liaison with externalauditors, and serving as back-up to the CFO – Foundations.
