PACCAR is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller in Bellevue, WA to lead monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and cross‑functional financial planning. You will partner with IT and business leaders to optimize reporting systems and analytics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires eight or more years in accounting, strong SOX controls, and a BA/BS in Accounting. PACCAR offers robust benefits including pensions, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Strong automated systems knowledge (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• ERP experience (Infinium G/L, SAP preferred).
• Data analytics tools experience (SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• SOX and internal control background.

Responsibilities

• Develop credible and accurate monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Partner with IT and business leadership to support financial systems and reporting.
• Drive process improvements to streamline financial reporting and analytics.
• Oversee daily accounting functions of the General Accounting team.
• Manage general accounting cycles including cash and treasury management, derivatives, and wholesale financing portfolio reporting.
• Support financial reporting and SEC filings including Form 10-Q and 10-K.
• Lead ad-hoc accounting projects and technical accounting assignments.
