PACCAR is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to oversee lease accounting for PACCAR Leasing Company. You will lead the accounting team across the US and Canada, ensuring accurate monthly statements, forecasts, and regulatory reporting, while driving efficiency through automation and analytics.

The role requires deep GAAP lease knowledge, supervisory experience, and strong communication with executive leadership.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience with increasing responsibility
• Supervisory experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; including effective written and verbal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to communicate complex lease accounting issues at an executive level
• Strong technical and analytical accounting skills with intermediate to advanced Excel and data analytics tools such as Tableau/Power BI
• Public Accounting or audit experience is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop accountants, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Provide technical accounting research and guidance to management on lease transactions
• Manage daily and month-end U.S. and Canadian lease accounting activities
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages
• Coordinate with tax, audits, and external reporting for SEC filings
• Develop and implement system initiatives including AI and data analytics to improve efficiency
