Job summary

Cubiscan, an employee-owned technology company in the Utah region, seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to join the finance and accounting team. You will work closely with the Controller on financial reporting, internal controls, and day-to-day financial management while expanding your understanding of Cubiscan's business and ERP system (Syteline).

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to handle increasing responsibilities as Cubiscan grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA, active CPA candidacy, or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day management of accounting functions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger activity and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and financial reports.
• Assist with accounts receivable, payable, cash, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
