Job summary

City Wide Franchise is seeking an Assistant Controller to maintain and analyze financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. You will prepare monthly statements, reconcile bank and ledger accounts, and support audits.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of staff accounting experience, with strong Excel and accounting software skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a staff accountant role.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with year-end audits.
• Provide support to the accounting team as needed.
