Job summary

City Wide Franchise is seeking an Assistant Controller to maintain and analyze financial records, manage accounts payable/receivable, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

This position requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and at least three years of staff accounting experience, plus proficiency with Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a staff accountant role.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with year-end audits.
• Provide support to the accounting team as needed.
