Job summary

Fresh Del Monte is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller in Pittsburgh, PA, to oversee financial processes in a fast-moving CPG environment. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, over 10 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of US GAAP. The role involves leading a global accounting function and collaborating closely with plant operations and FP&A teams, driving process improvements and efficiencies while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in CPG or manufacturing.
• Experience in month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to manage shared services or outsourced accounting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate monthly financial results.
• Oversee cost accounting and inventory processes.
• Manage general ledger and financial reporting processes.
• Act as a liaison with FP&A and plant finance.
• Lead improvements in financial controls and transparency.
