- Review customer contracts, purchase orders, vendor agreements, and other transactions to ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
- Support accounting for vendor rebates, incentives, credits, discounts, and other partner programs common within the technology reseller channel.
- Oversee and improve accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, cash application, and related accounting processes.
- Partner with Sales, Contracts, Operations, and Program Management to ensure transactions are appropriately structured, recorded, billed, and reported.
- Support accounting and compliance requirements associated with the company's federal government business and contract vehicles.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual financial statement audit.
- Assist with cash flow reporting, forecasting, working capital management, and other financial analyses.
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes as the organization continues to grow.
- Support the CFO and senior leadership with special projects, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably including experience within a technology reseller, VAR, federal IT solutions provider, systems integrator, or government contractor.

- Experience with complex technology vendor and OEM relationships.
- Knowledge of gross versus net revenue presentation/principal-versus-agent considerations under ASC 606.
- Experience with ERP/accounting system implementations, integrations, or process automation.
- A background with a combination of public accounting and industry accounting is a plus.
