Job summary

Washington Frank International seeks an experienced accounting leader to join our finance organization and oversee multi-location manufacturing accounting across the Americas. This hands-on role requires a CPA, 5+ years of leadership, and deep cost accounting and operational finance support.

You will drive process improvements and automation, mentor the accounting team, and work with IT and business leaders to align practices with strategic objectives during a period of transformation and ERP

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong manufacturing accounting experience, including cost accounting and operational finance support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee accounting operations within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Manage accounting processes across multiple locations throughout the Americas.
• Support financial consolidation and reporting activities utilizing OneStream.
• Partner with business leaders to ensure accounting practices align with operational and strategic objectives.
• Drive process improvements, standardization initiatives, and automation efforts to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Support organizational changes including acquisitions, integrations, restructurings, and ERP-related initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Mentor, coach, and develop accounting team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage employee performance, staffing decisions, recruitment, succession planning, and talent development within the accounting organization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, IT, and business leadership teams.

We are seeking an experienced accounting leader to join our finance organization and play a critical role in supporting a complex, multi-location manufacturing business across the Americas. This position requires a hands-on accounting professional with deep manufacturing accounting expertise who can quickly assume ownership of key accounting responsibilities and contribute immediately.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical accounting knowledge, proven leadership experience, and a passion for process improvement and automation. This individual will operate effectively in a fast-paced environment characterized by ongoing business transformation, including system implementations, acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In addition to meeting the current requirements of the role, this position offers significant long-term growth opportunities. We are seeking a high-potential leader capable of assuming broader finance and accounting leadership responsibilities within the next three to five years.

Qualifications

Required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting leadership experience in a comparable role within a mid-sized or large publicly traded manufacturing company.
• Strong manufacturing accounting experience, including cost accounting and operational finance support.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and organizational planning.
