Job summary

Collabera in St. Louis is seeking a senior accounting leader with at least eight years of accounting experience and five years in management. The role focuses on supervising accounting staff, overseeing monthly and year-end closes, and delivering accurate financial reporting to firm leadership.

The ideal candidate has familiarity with partnership accounting and Form 1065, plus strong communication skills for presenting findings to executives. This is a direct hire with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional services, ideally law, financial services, private equity, or accounting firms.

Job description

• 
  Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience and at least 5 years of supervisory, management, or team leadership experience, with the ability to oversee accounting staff and daily operations.
  
• Professional services industry experience is required, ideally within a law firm, financial services firm, private equity firm, or accounting firm, with familiarity with partnership-based organizational structures.
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting, partnership tax requirements, and compliance, ideally including Form 1065 preparation, review, or reporting and related filing requirements.
• Experience managing monthly and year-end close processes, General Ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting, along with strong communication skills and the ability to confidently present financial information to firm leadership.

$160K/Ann. to $175k/Ann.
