A leading recruitment agency is looking for an Assistant Controller for a company based in the Rosedale area of Maryland. This newly created position offers the chance to support a growing team and report to a strong CPA. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have over four years of relevant experience, preferably in construction. Attractive compensation includes a salary of $105-115K plus bonus and excellent benefits, such as substantial 401K contributions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a relevant accounting role, ideally with construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close and reporting processes.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Implement KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Supervise the growing accounting operations team.

The Assistant Controller is a newly created position designed to support a growing team!

The position reports directly to a fantastic Controller who is being groomed for CFO which leaves another eminent promotion to Controller in site for the winning candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 4+ Years of Experience
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Construction experience preferred
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
