Job summary

Connect Search LLC is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Controller to support a manufacturing finance team. This role offers a flexible schedule and hands-on accounting work, centered around month-end close and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent Excel skills. You will maintain ledgers, prepare statements, and ensure accuracy while managing deadlines with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and month-end close.
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Manufacturing, group-structure, or international company experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations

Connect Search is recruiting for a Part-Time Assistant Controller to support the Finance team of a manufacturing company. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys hands‑on accounting work and wants a schedule that offers flexibility throughout the month.

Compensation: $50-60/hr

• Flexible, part-time schedule with a concentrated workload during month-end close

• Approximately 4 days during month-end/beginning-of-month closing

• Approximately 8 hours per week during the remainder of the month
