Job Description/Expectations

1. Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of quarterly and annual financials in compliance with GAAP for Group Consolidations.
2. Understand business structure, intercompany relationships, and data flows/sources.
3. Assist in the preparation of quarterly MD&A and Group MD&A documents.
4. Coordinate system and platform enhancement projects.
5. Liaise with auditors and support audit requests, including aggregating quarterly compliance evidence.
6. Provide guidance to interns, consultants, and finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and positivity.
7. Enhance data accuracy and processing speed using automation features within Workday and other tools.
8. Build valuable relationships with cross-functional teams and affiliated counterparts through collaboration.

Skills

1. Positive, proactive attitude with problem-solving energy and openness to new approaches.
2. Proficiency in general accounting, including bank reconciliations, expenses, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
3. Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and self-manage with a positive work ethic.
4. Good judgment in problem identification and resolution.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
6. Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
7. Excellent analytical, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced pivot tables and macros.
9. Familiarity with Workday and Power BI is a plus.
