Job summary

Jobtailor in Maryland seeks a seasoned accounting professional to own off-balance sheet loan fund accounting and GAAP-based reporting. You will collaborate with investors, auditors, and internal teams to ensure precise financial records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

• Maintain full ownership of accounting for all off-balance sheet loan funds


• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial records in accordance with GAAP


• Monitor cash positions across various bank accounts and funding needs for operations and lending


• Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages


• Develop clear, actionable insights on fund performance, drivers, and risks


• Serve as a primary finance contact for investors, capital providers, external auditors, as well as internal teams


• Coordinate the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for all assigned funds


• Support and enhance loan servicing and accounting systems


• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance operations and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent is required


• CPA is a plus


• 5-7 years accounting experience is required
