Job summary

CFS is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join its finance leadership team in a role offering relocation assistance. The position supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls within a global manufacturing environment, with exposure to executive leadership.

Key responsibilities include month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax-related reporting, collaborating across functions to improve processes and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen internal control processes.
• Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Assist with federal, state, and local tax-related reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
• Participate in special projects and other finance initiatives as needed.
