Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience interfacing with external auditors and senior leadership on financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Generate financial reports for senior leadership.
• Maintain and oversee the General Ledger for multiple entities.
• Own and manage month end close and annual close cycle.

They should track financial information in a well-organized manner and assist the Controller in all aspects related to finance within the organization. The Assistant Controller is a critical member of the accounting team and will work closely with the Corporate Controller and Management Team and will play a critical role in overseeing daily accounting operations in a growth-oriented environment
