The ODA Group has partnered with a family investment office in search of an Assistant Controller. The company has approximately 50 employees and invests in real estate and oil field services. This person would be solely responsible for the accounting for over ten entities and work directly with the CFO and executive management.

Duties include:

• Budget Updates and Forecast Review
• Vendor and Customer Account Status
• Payroll Oversight Issues – Accuracy and timing
• Cash Flow Spreadsheet Update
• Cash Flow Monitoring Review – Liquidity and runway
• Internal Cash Movement Needs
• Money Market Investment Strategy – Yield performance
• AP/AR Oversight – Aged reports and issues
• Monthly Closing of Books
• Expense Review – Line-by-line analysis
• Bank Reconciliation Status – Outstanding items

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA or CPA preferred
• A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• 5+ years related accounting experience
• Full cycle accounting experience in real estate, construction, oil field services or similar industry
