Qualifications

• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and support budgeting.
• Experience in manufacturing accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, manage GL activities, and lead month-end/year-end close.
• Perform reconciliations, ensure GAAP compliance, support audits, and oversee tax filings.
• Analyze financial data, support budgeting/forecasting, strengthen internal controls, and mentor staff.
• Partner with business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, process improvements.
• Additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Be Owning As An Assistant Controller

• Prepare and review financial statements, manage GL activities, and lead month-end/year-end close processes.
• Perform reconciliations, ensure GAAP compliance, support audits, and oversee tax filings.
• Analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, strengthen internal controls, and mentor junior staff.
• Partner with business leaders on budgeting, forecasting, process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications Of The Assistant Controller

• BS Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of general ledger accounting (complete accounting cycle) experience within a manufacturing (or related) industry.
• Ability to independently work on reconciliations
• Experience with ERP systems!
• Strong MS Excel skills.
