Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation is a leading civil infrastructure contractor with a long history of delivering complex transportation projects. This role focuses on interpreting and administering contracts, ensuring alignment with project obligations, and supporting payments and change management across project teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of experience in contract management within large-scale construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of construction processes for complex infrastructure projects.
• Long-term contract experience preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of the contracting process.

Responsibilities

• Interprets contract terms, conditions, and requirements for internal teams to ensure alignment with project obligations.
• Administers contracts throughout the project lifecycle, verifying owner compliance and addressing deviations.
• Supports preparation of project contractual/legal and financial entitlements, contractual correspondence and notices.
• Manages payment processing, including interim and final submissions per contract terms.
• Serves as main point of contact for project teams on contract matters and supports decision-making.
• Coordinates with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for contract alignment and performance.
• Prepares reports and analyses on contract status, trends, and KPIs for management decisions.
• Develops and negotiates variations, change orders, claims, and adjustments with stakeholders.

• Coordinates with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure contractual alignment and performance.
• Prepares reports and analyses on contract status, trends, and KPIs to inform management decisions.
• Develops and negotiates variations, change orders, claims, and adjustments in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Provides mentorship and feedback to junior contract staff, supporting their growth and performance.
• Participates in cross-functional initiatives and perform additional duties as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
