Job summary

NATIONAL COMMUNITY RENAISSANCE OF C is seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support construction efforts at the Rancho Cucamonga project site. You will work with the Superintendent and Construction VP to define scopes of work, monitor the budget, and help keep the project on schedule.

Responsibilities include coordinating with city inspectors, permits, plan checks, and Certificates of Occupancy; directing subcontractors and site staff; producing progress reports; and ensuring OSHA

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of overall construction experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in affordable multi-family residential projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity coordinating city inspectors, plan checks and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations, including scheduling and inspections.
• Monitor construction budget and ensure adherence to the timeline.
• Coordinate utilities, permits, plan checks, and Certificates of Occupancy.
• Direct subcontractors and supervise field staff to ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with city inspectors and utility inspectors during site walkthroughs.
• Provide periodic written reporting and scheduling updates.
• Enforce OSHA safety requirements site wide and SWPPP compliance.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work site daily.
