Job summary

IAPMO seeks an Assistant Area Supervisor/Assistant Construction Manager to support Area Managers in field activities, coordinating subcontractors and personnel, and ensuring projects are built on time, within budget, and safely according to policy.

The role involves planning with the project team, coordinating stakeholders, and maintaining safety, quality, and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial/construction field.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Working knowledge of construction contract language and terms.
• Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to quality and safety standards (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Assist Area Manager in coordinating subcontractors and field personnel.
• Monitor schedule, safety, quality control, and project documentation.
• Attend project progress meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Oversee close-out activities and demobilization when project finishes.
• Ensure site safety and proper adherence to company policies.
