Assistant Construction Project Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer to support the successful execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and coordinating all phases of construction projects.
• Support cost estimation, bidding, and subcontractor/vendor selection processes.
• Issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and track material deliveries.
• Prepare and update project schedules, contract values, and cost breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and as-built drawings.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and change orders.
• Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and team members.
• Support monthly reporting and cost analysis efforts.
• Ensure adherence to safety and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with commercial construction projects as a project coordinator, assistant project manager or related role
• Associates or bachelors degree strongly preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project documentation
• Experience working in construction management software required (Procore, Buildertrend, RedTeam Go)
