The Dallas Symphony Association is seeking an Assistant Conductor to support artistic planning and performance needs across the season. You will conduct approximately 15 concerts, attend rehearsals, and assist with program development and guest collaborations in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities include presenting pre-concert talks, coordinating with the Music Director, and providing artistic input for media releases, while representing the orchestra at public events and expanding community

• Assist the Music Director and staff with musical administration and development, including planning programs and reviewing schedule.
• Attend Classical Subscription rehearsals to provide input and guidance, and be prepared to conduct rehearsals or performances as needed.
• Conduct assigned concerts across any DSA program, venue, or date.
• Host and present pre-concert talks before every Classical Concert throughout the season.
• Provide artistic feedback to the media team and coordinate performance selections with guest conductors and artists.
• Represent the orchestra at events, deliver speeches, and support community relationships.
