Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• CPA licensure preferred or progress toward licensure.
• Experience in higher education or nonprofit sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual financial statement audit and act as primary university contact for external auditors.
• Prepare and coordinate audit areas including net assets, investments, and financial statements.
• Produce financial reporting and analysis for the Board of Trustees and executive administration.
• Oversee recording of monthly endowment activity in the general ledger (endowment >$270M).
• Assist with Form 990, 1099 series, and 1042-S tax form preparation and submission.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and manage payroll oversight and compliance.
• Ensure IPEDS data reporting is accurate and timely.
• Provide monthly cash flow models to the Comptroller and CFO.
• Support budget office with financial projections and adherence to policies.
