The Assistant Compliance Officer is responsible for assisting the Director, Compliance Officer, with the management and oversight of the Compliance Management System (CMS) program for the Credit Union. The Assistant Compliance Officer will be a leader for the Compliance team and throughout the organization in creating a culture of compliance through collaboration and relationship building, strong communication, and strong analytical skills. They will supervise the Compliance Analysts and serve as a mentor and leader within this role. The Assistant Compliance Officer will report directly to the Director, Compliance Officer.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am -4:00pm. This position will be a hybrid model both in person and remote with minimum of onsite expectation of 40% or as needed.
In this position, you will
Bachelors (Required)
3 or more years' experience working with the Consumer Protection Regulations and a comprehensive knowledge of Compliance concepts and principles.| Required6 or more years of experience working in compliance (or related field) at a Financial Institution.| RequiredAny equivalent combination of experience and education.| Required
Certification required in field of expertise - i.e., CRCM; NCCO; CCUE; CUCE; etc.
