Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Temporary Assistant Community Manager to support property operations, drive resident satisfaction, and ensure financial accuracy. This three‑month assignment offers exposure to leasing, marketing, and team leadership in a community setting.

You will lease apartments, respond to inquiries, and mentor the leasing team while upholding fair housing laws and reporting requirements. The role requires flexibility including weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience required.
• Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong math and accounting skills.
• Understanding of financial statements (budget, financial reports, accounting information, etc.).
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Temporary Assistant Community Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting property operations, driving resident satisfaction, and ensuring financial accuracy. This position is ideal for someone ready to take their leasing and marketing experience to the next level in property management.

This temporary, full-time position is expected to last approximately three months and is subject to change based on business needs.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Estimated Rate of Pay:
$25.04 - $29.12
This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
