Job summary

Fairfield is seeking a Temporary Assistant Community Manager to support property operations, leasing, and resident services at our South Carolina community. You will help ensure financial accuracy, process rents and invoices, and assist the Community Manager with daily tasks.

The position is temporary and full-time for about three months with a flexible schedule, including some weekends and evenings. Experience in leasing, Yardi or similar property management software, and strong math skills are

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience required.
  • Experience using Yardi or other property management accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong math and accounting skills.
  • Understanding of financial statements (budget, financial reports, accounting information).
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions.

Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Reporting: Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare financial reports.
  • Complete bank deposits and account reconciliations.
  • Use Yardi software for property accounting.

About the Role

As a Temporary Assistant Community Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting property operations, driving resident satisfaction, and ensuring financial accuracy. This position is ideal for someone ready to take their leasing and marketing experience to the next level in property management.

This temporary, full-time position is expected to last approximately three months and is subject to change based on business needs.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience required
  • Experience in leadership and supervising a staff preferred
  • Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong math and accounting skills
  • Understanding of financial statements (budget, financial reports, accounting information, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays
Estimated Rate of Pay

$25.04 - $29.12

This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*.

In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
