JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community. Responsibilities include completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, completing bank deposits, account reconciliations, and utilizing property management software to record, track, and report financial activities.

Qualifications & Responsibilities
  • 1-2 years of lease-up experience, familiarity with Yardi/CRM, and planning resident events.
  • Perform daily financial transactions such as collecting and posting rent, preparing bank deposits, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
  • Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite), ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity.
  • Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  • Review and process vendor invoices, reconcile work or purchases, and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and accounting staff.
  • Follow procedures related to evictions, including notices, court appearances, and legal compliance.
  • Manage resident move-outs, applying deposits, fees, and processing dispositions according to legal requirements.
  • Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and requests promptly.
  • Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, organizing daily tasks and coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Assist in managing client/owner relationships through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, and carry objects up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Work outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits

The hourly rate ranges from $25.00 to $28.08 (Mountain View). Compensation may vary based on experience, business needs, and location.

Additional compensation may include bonuses based on individual and company performance, with weekly, monthly, or quarterly opportunities.
