JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community by handling accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial reports, processing payments, and managing property management software to record and report all financial activities.

JOB DETAILS

  • Unit Count: 220
  • Property Type: Mid-Rise; Lease-up
  • Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday
  • Experience: 1-2 years in lease-up, familiar with Yardi/CRM, planning resident events

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily financial transactions including rent collection, invoice processing, and bank deposits.
  • Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite), ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Review resident accounts for unpaid/late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  • Review and process vendor invoices, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure proper coding and approval.
  • Follow procedures related to evictions, including notices and court representations.
  • Manage resident move-outs, apply deposits and fees, and process dispositions legally and properly.
  • Respond promptly to resident complaints and requests to promote satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, overseeing daily operations and maintenance coordination.
  • Assist in managing owner relationships through meetings, community tours, and performance updates.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and lifting weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.

Pay Range: $25.00-$28.08 per hour (Mountain View)

Additional Compensation

  • Factors influencing pay include experience, skills, location, and business needs.
  • Potential eligibility for quarterly, annual, weekly, or monthly bonus programs based on performance.
