A leading property management company in Raleigh seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations and financial tasks. The role involves engaging with residents and potential clients, maintaining property standards, and ensuring financial accuracy. Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills, along with experience in property management software.
What does this role entail? The Assistant Community Managersupports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community by completing accounting and reporting tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, fees, and other payments, completing bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations, and using the property management system to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the property.

Qualifications Summary :

Education and Experience :
Education : High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience Preferred : Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service background sufficient to manage the day-to-day operation of an apartment community.
Advanced Skills : Communication, Presentation, and Delivery Skills with ability to connect to people at all levels.
Computer Skills : Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs for reporting purposes. Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata Yardi and / or One Site).
Licenses and Certificates Requirements :

Physical Requirements :
Weights Requirements : Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
Mobility Requirements : The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, and squat. Intermittently required to sit and perform keyboard work.
Travel Requirements : Routine local travel may be required to run business-related errands including but not limited to meetings and training. Non-local travel may be required for business-related responsibilities.
