Job summary

S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for the Parcview community in Alexandria, VA. This full-time role oversees on-site staff in the Community Manager's absence and ensures smooth operation of leasing, resident relations, and property administration.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, a background in property management, and strong customer service skills to support retention and compliance with Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• May be supplemented by prior supervisory experience in a customer service environment.
• Valid Driver’s License required if operating a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Leasing tasks: showing property, preparing lease packets, run credit reports, inspect moves in/out.
• Participates actively in leasing to achieve quality residency.
• Handles deposits and rent postings.
• Responds to telephone requests from residents and the public.
• Coordinates payroll-related activities with Payroll Department.
• Tracks traffic through the property.
• Coordinates maintenance requests with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Pursues resident retention through positive relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
