Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Haven at Palmer Pointe in Columbia, SC.

You will support the Community Manager in daily operations, including leasing, pricing, collections, administration, and resident services, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures during applicant processing. The role involves supervising on-site staff in the Community Manager’s absence, maintaining occupancy targets, and coordinating with regional management on budgeting, reporting, and

Qualifications

• Property management license required
• Multifamily leasing, sales and/or customer service experience is required.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations, federal, state, and local.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or means of transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist with budgeting and expense monitoring.
• Maintain 100% occupancy and active wait list.
• Develop and monitor renewal programs for non-subsidized units.
• Ensure property maintenance and safety standards are met.
• Generate required reports (year-end, HUD info, etc.).
• Leads on-site staff and coordinates with Community Manager.
