Job summary

Monroe Group in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support day-to-day property operations at an affordable housing community. You will assist with lease processing, rent calculations, resident files, and coordinating maintenance while leading a team under the Community Manager's guidance.

Ideal candidates have a year of leasing or admin experience, familiarity with Yardi or onsite software, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• At least 1 year as leasing or admin assistant.
• Experience with onsite or Yardi software.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Community Manager, complete the lease packet, calculate rent, and prepare all documents in accordance with Monroe policy and procedures
• Maintain resident and property files and waiting lists
• Responsible for rent collection and preparing lease enforcement notices
• Assist with ordering supplies, processing invoices, and tracking maintenance schedules
• Performs all other duties as assigned
