Job summary

Monroe Group LTD is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Houston, TX to support day-to-day operations of a PBS8 community. You will assist with leasing, rent processing, and resident services while maintaining a positive, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has affordable housing management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office. This role emphasizes customer service and professional conduct in daily interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Affordable Housing Apartment Management.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a busy office.
• Work well in a team or independently with minimal oversight.
• Background in Project-Based Section 8 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Under the Community Manager, prepare lease packets and rent calculations.
• Maintain resident/property files and waiting lists.
• Manage rent collection and issue eviction notices as needed.
• Assist with supplies, invoices, and maintenance scheduling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
