Related Affordable operates the 94-unit Trees-Holly affordable housing community in Denver, CO, and seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations alongside the Community Manager. You will handle leasing, resident relations, and financial tasks while upholding program compliance and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, collaboration with maintenance, and contributing to a welcoming, compliant living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing.
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs (e.g., Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC) and compliance requirements.
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards (or similar property management software).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing leasing activities, marketing efforts, resident recertifications, and general administrative duties.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, aid in rent collection, and assist in managing delinquencies.
• Address resident concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a positive living environment; organize resident appreciation and retention events.
• Ensure adherence to affordable housing program requirements (e.g., HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC) by maintaining records and supporting audits.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely and high-quality property upkeep and safety.
• Assist in preparing reports to monitor community performance and identify areas for improvement.
