Fairfield Residential in thePortofino Place community area seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support two properties, Portofino Place East (416 units) and Portofino Place West (396 units), with leasing, tenant relations, and financial accuracy.

You will oversee accounting tasks in Yardi, assist in budgeting, and promote resident satisfaction while mentoring a leasing team. Strong MS Outlook/Excel skills and fair housing knowledge are required, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, or property management experience.
• Leadership and supervising staff experience preferred.
• Experience with Yardi or other property management software helpful.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Accounting & Reporting: collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare financial reports.
• Lease & Customer Service: lease apartments and promote resident satisfaction; respond to inquiries.
• Team Collaboration: mentor leasing team and support Community Manager.
• Compliance: ensure adherence to federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
