Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Shreveport, LA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for our 314-unit apartment community. The ideal candidate will handle leasing and on-site property management, with a knack for numbers and resident services.

Salary is $18.00–$19.00 per hour, with monthly new lease/renewal and quarterly bonuses in addition to base pay. Workdays are Monday through Saturday with hours 8:30 am–5:30 pm (Sat 10:00 am–5:00 pm); requires a valid LA Driver’s License and background

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years on-site property management experience.
• Strong bookkeeping and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leasing of units and processing applications.
• Income collections and rent processing.
• Move-ins and move-outs coordination and resident relations.
• Prepare reports and assist marketing efforts.

Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in on-site property management.
• Strong bookkeeping and organization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other similar programs.
• Must be able to work one Saturdaya month, with an alternative day off during the week.
