Job summary

LHH is partnering with a local property management organization to identify an experienced Assistant Community Manager to support multiple affordable housing communities in the Portland area.

This role focuses on leasing, resident relations, compliance documentation, and daily site operations with minimal onboarding. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to successfully manage multiple locations and ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience in affordable housing and tax credit programs is required.
  • Leasing experience and resident relations know-how are necessary.
  • Experience managing resident files and compliance documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Assistant Community Manager (Affordable Housing)

LHH is partnering with a local property management organization to identify an experienced Assistant Community Manager to support multiple affordable housing communities in the Portland area.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong affordable housing background who can quickly step in and support leasing, resident relations, compliance documentation, and daily site operations with minimal training.

Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day operations at multiple affordable housing communities
  • Assist with leasing activities and resident communications
  • Maintain resident files and compliance documentation
  • Process certifications and recertifications
  • Ensure compliance with affordable housing and tax credit requirements
  • Provide administrative support and exceptional customer service to residents
Qualifications

Assistant Community Manager or Community Manager experience

Affordable housing experience required

Leasing experience

Experience managing resident files, compliance documentation, certifications, and recertifications

Strong organizational and administrative skills

Professional communication and customer service abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
