Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily operations of a housing community in Las Vegas. You will oversee leasing, staff, and financial functions, helping to ensure timely rent collection and compliance with policies.

This onsite role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in cash handling, and coordinating maintenance, administration, and risk management. You will contribute to budget goals and maintain strong resident relations.

Responsibilities

  • Posting payments and income from all applicants, current residents, and non-current residents accurately, timely, and efficiently.
  • Processing and reconciling daily all accounts receivable.
  • Monitor and follow up on bad debt including late notices, resident and guarantor contact, and evictions.
  • Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
  • Posting charges to resident and non-current resident accounts; including bill back of utilities where applicable.
  • End-of-the-month closing procedures and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records; audit resident files for accuracy.
  • Walk units and post all move-out charges, statements, and security deposit refunds.

Assistant Community Manager

The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for overseeing, under the supervision of the Community Manager, the everyday operations and financial functions of the housing community. As the Assistant Community Manager, you will play a vital role in the delinquency and collection of rent to optimize the property's cash flow and financial position. As an Assistant Community Manager, you will manage all phases of the operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management in the absence of the Community Manager. As an onsite leader, you will supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Management
