Job summary

Silver Tree Residential, LLC is seeking an Assistant Community Director for St. Martha's Village in Baton Rouge.

The role supports the Community Director, handles resident recertifications, maintains resident files per HUD guidelines, and assists with MORs and REAC inspections. You'll run background checks, prepare applicant/resident documents, communicate with residents and applicants, enforce lease terms, and perform administrative duties to run the property efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Director in communication efforts with residents, management, and ownership.
• Ensure timely interim and annual recertification of all residents.
• Assist Community Director in building and maintaining accurate and complete resident files according to HUD guidelines.
• Assist Community Director in preparing for MOR's and REAC inspections.
• Run credit, criminal, and other background checks to ensure that the community's screening criteria is not compromised and the best possible tenants are found.
• Assist in the preparation of all applicant/resident documentation, including but not limited to those required by HUD and management.
• Effective communication with residents and applicants on all issues pertinent to their tenancy.
• Assist in enforcement of lease terms and rules and regulations.
• Assist the Community Director with various administrative duties crucial to the operation of the community.
• Effective and timely communications with Community Director and other staff members.
• All other related tasks as deemed necessary by management and ownership required to operate the property as efficiently as possible.
