Job summary

Indigo Real Estate seeks an experienced Assistant Community Director for affordable housing to lead daily property operations, maintain resident relations, and ensure compliance with LIHTC programs. You will coordinate leasing, budgeting, reporting, and staff supervision to support a high-performing team.

This role emphasizes organization, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple communities while meeting financial targets and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of property management experience.
• LIHTC experience.
• Experience managing 3+ properties.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct day-to-day property operations while maintaining resident relations.
• Manage office workflow and lease administration.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC and governmental standards.
• Handle budgeting, reporting, revenue and expenses at site level.
• Coordinate marketing and advertisements, including ILS.
• Supervise a team of 3 or more staff.
• Provide training and development for staff.
