Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking an Assistant Community Director for Rio Paradiso in Tempe, AZ. You will support the Community Director in daily operations of a multi-million dollar asset and act as on-site leader in their absence, delivering professional, resident-focused service and overseeing leasing, finances, and vendor relations.

In this role you will manage lease renewals, prepare market analyses, help with monthly financials, and supervise the on-site team to meet Weidner standards.

Qualifications

  • Prior property management experience required.
  • Strong tenant/lease management and budgeting experience preferred.
  • Able to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize leasing daily and conduct tours.
  • Manage lease renewals and promote resident retention.
  • Prepare market analyses and shop competitive properties.
  • Provide supervision to the on-site team in the Community Director's absence.
  • Assist with monthly financial performance reports and budget adherence.
  • Ensure leasing traffic is recorded and input daily.
  • Process resident applications and conduct move-in orientations.
  • Maintain high Weidner quality standards for property and amenities.

Rio ParadisoPosition Summary:As an Assistant Community Director, you are personable and act with integrity to provide quality service with a high level of professionalism. This role is responsible for assisting and supporting the Community Director in the efficient operation of a multi-million-dollar asset. This position will oversee and manage the financial and operational needs of the community through financial reporting, rent collections, invoice processing, expense tracking, and move out account reconciliations. This associate must have a passion for building relationships with demonstrated success in sales, customer service and leadership to be effective as the acting on-site leader in the absence of the Community Director. A successful Assistant Community Director is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. In addition, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.Primary Responsibilities:Prioritize leasing daily and conduct toursManage and negotiate all lease renewals in a timely manner and promote resident retentionComplete market analysis and shop competitive properties at least monthly; Implement marketing and leasing strategies dailyProvide supervision, direction, and structure to your team in the absence of your Community Director, or SupervisorAssist with monthly financial performance reports with onsite teams; support strategy for meeting budget, revenue management, and expense controlEnsure all leasing traffic is recorded and input dailyProcess prospective resident applicationsFollow Weidner Move-In Experience with all approved applicants; Conduct new move-in orientationsPrepare and disseminate deposit accountings accurately and on timeAssist with all resident, financial, analytic and reporting tasks for the communityEnsure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner’s quality standardsBenefits & PerksAt Weidner Apartment Homes, we value our team members and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and career growth.
