Job summary

The County of Warren is seeking an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney to serve the citizens of Warren County by prosecuting criminal cases in all courts representing the Commonwealth.

The position involves preparing cases, trying cases in General District, Juvenile and Domestic Relations, and Circuit Courts, and providing guidance to law enforcement and citizens. Open until filled; competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited law school and considerable experience as a practicing attorney, some of which in criminal law.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute cases in all courts representing the Commonwealth.
• Prepare cases for prosecutions and try cases in General District, Juvenile and Domestic Relations, and Circuit Courts.
• Represent the Welfare Department in Juvenile Court matters and review cases with law enforcement personnel.
