Effective immediately: (PT) Assistant Coach – Women’s Basketball - Wilmington University, New Castle.
About Wilmington University: Wilmington University is an NCAA Division II university that competes in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). The main campus is located in New Castle, Delaware, with the WU Athletics Complex located six miles away in Newark. The athletics department sponsors 16 varsity sports.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Must have excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently. Must have the ability to multi-task, work independently as well as be creative and innovative. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and familiar with other Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of competition and safety rules. Must always represent the University in a professional manner and maintain professionalism and confidentiality in any situation. Must demonstrate respect for diversity in the workplace and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that values the contributions of all employees.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Hours of Employment: Primarily evening hours; however, the incumbent must be flexible enough with their hours to meet the needs of the department and the University. Some weekends and travel may be required.
