Job summary

Qualifications

  • Previous budgeting procedures and strong communication and management skills required.
  • Must be available to travel and work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

  • Scout opponents and provide analysis to support competitive preparation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and cultivate prospective student-athletes from throughout the country in accordance with Conference and NCAA regulations.
  • Attend departmental meetings, programs, and clinics.
  • Assist with fund-raising efforts as needed.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

About the Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Coach position supports the varsity athletics programat Northeastern University, reporting to the Head Coach. This roleis responsible for assisting with practice and game-day decisions,player skill development, and administrative duties as assigned.The Assistant Coach plays a key role in identifying, evaluating,and cultivating prospective student-athletes from across thecountry while upholding all Conference and NCAA regulations. Thisposition requires availability to travel and work evenings andweekends as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Assist the Head Coach with practice and game-day decisions, developing training drills for player skill development and leadingpositional portions of practice

Expected Hiring Range:

$76,335.00 - $107,823.75
