Job Summary

Instructs students in the fundamental skills of baseball. Creates an environment conducive to personal development for team members through observing, evaluating, emphasizing teamwork, and providing guidance to each student‑athlete. Develops sport‑specific drills and practice activities to enhance team performance, including game plans and specific training rules. Motivates students to excel academically and athletically while maintaining a positive image for the school and team.

Responsibilities

Oversees sporting trips and events that benefit the team and school. Engages in pep rallies and school meetings. Maintains team equipment. Participates in hiring and instructing assistant coaches and assists in scheduling sports activities within district budget regulations.
