Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of coaching experience in an intercollegiate environment, preferably at the Division I level.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Competency with computer applications related to coaching and athletic administration.

Position Summary

Assist the head coach with all aspects of the Football Program, including practice and competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing daily practice and competition plans, organizing clinics, and overall administrative tasks within the program. Demonstrate integrity, leadership, and a strong commitment to motivating, teaching, counseling, and recruiting academically qualified student-athletes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the head coach with practice and competition planning.
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve player skills.
  • Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes for academic and athletic readiness.
  • Direct daily practice sessions and game-day operations.
  • Organize and administer clinics and training camps.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to the football program.

Required Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
  • Travel required.
Campus Security Authority Responsibilities

This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority under the Clery Act. Duties include reporting Clery‑visible crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and completing annual training on reporting responsibilities.
