FUMA is seeking a full-time Assistant Coach for the Postgraduate Lacrosse Program.
This position is ideal for a high-energy, motivated coach who is passionate about recruiting, developing student‑athletes and helping continue to grow a nationally competitive postgraduate program.
Estimated Start Date: June 15, 2026
The assistant coach will play a key role in recruiting, player development, practice planning, and program operations while helping instill the academy's Christian values, including discipline, accountability, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Recruit prospective postgraduate student‑athletes globally
- Assist with practice planning, game preparation, scouting, and other duties as assigned in athletic department
- Develop and implement defensive systems and player development
- Support strength & conditioning expectations and team culture
- Help manage program operations, travel, logistics and equipment
- Maintain strong communication with recruits, families, and college coaches
- Assist with social media, marketing and program promotion
- Uphold the standards and Christian mission at FUMA
Qualifications
- Previous college or high‑level lacrosse playing/coaching experience preferred
- Strong recruiting ability and national network database
- Highly organized, disciplined, and detail‑oriented
- Competitive mindset and relentless work ethicAbility to mentor and develop young men both on and off the field
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel for recruiting, as well as pass a background check
