The University of Virginia’s College at Wise is seeking an Assistant Coach (Wage) to support the Division II sport program with player development, practice setup, and recruitment assistance. The role works under the Head Coach to help enhance performance and team culture.

Responsibilities include attending practices, assisting with conditioning, traveling to away games, documenting statistics, and communicating with athletes.

Qualifications

• A degree is preferred (Bachelor's or Master's).
• No prior coaching experience required; eagerness to learn and reliability are valued.

Responsibilities

• Attending practices and providing player conditioning support.
• Traveling to away games and attending home games.
• Maintaining confidentiality of records and information.
• Assisting with setting up and cleanup of facilities before and after practices.
• Communicating with Head Coach(es) and relevant issues or problems.
